Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Technofunctional Lead to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This is a hybrid role requiring both strong technical and functional expertise in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java coding, possess excellent stakeholder management abilities, and have experience leading a team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the SDET team, ensuring high-quality test automation and coverage.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to define and implement testing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Java.
  • Perform both functional and non-functional testing, including regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Establish and enforce best practices in test automation, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Drive test planning, execution, and reporting to ensure compliance with banking industry standards.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and functional issues in test environments.
  • Mentor and guide team members on automation frameworks, coding standards, and testing methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 8-10+ years of experience in software testing, automation, and quality engineering.
  • Strong Java programming skills with hands-on experience in test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, etc.).
  • Experience working in the banking domain, with a deep understanding of financial applications and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in building and integrating CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).
  • Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of BFSI regulatory compliance testing.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
