Key job responsibilities

We are looking for a software engineer to drive innovation in voice-powered music experiences, leveraging GenAI to revolutionize personalized recommendations and track sequencing across all Amazon Music platforms.

- You will innovate and develop GenAI-powered features that revolutionize how customers interact with Amazon Music using voice, focusing on personalized recommendations and seamless track sequencing across all CXs.

- You will design and implement content selection and ranking algorithms that leverage ML models to power intelligent voice recommendations delivering highly personalized music experiences across Unlimited, Prime, and Free tiers.

- You will work with engineers and applied scientists to integrate Sequencing algorithms and models across various voice and visual CXs (eg. AutoPlay, Stations etc) enhancing customer engagement.

- You will develop and deploy robust, scalable GenAI-driven voice-based content delivery solutions, ensuring low latency and high availability, while prioritizing advanced customer understanding and conversational abilities.

- You will partner with product managers to ideate, experiment with and launch innovative voice experiences that redefine music discovery and engagement for millions of users.

The Sequencing and Voice Recommendations Team is at the forefront of revolutionizing how customers experience music through voice. We are a dynamic and innovative group of engineers and applied scientists dedicated to leveraging Generative AI and machine learning to create deeply personalized and engaging music experiences across all Amazon Music platforms. Our mission is to transform voice interaction into a seamless and intuitive gateway to music discovery and enjoyment. We focus on developing advanced algorithms for personalized recommendations, intelligent track sequencing, and robust voice-powered content delivery. We collaborate closely with product managers to ideate, experiment, and launch voice experiences that redefine how millions of users interact with music. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
