Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain a robust, high-performance data infrastructure supporting complex hardware engineering projects.
- Create intuitive, responsive user interfaces for seamless visualization of extensive datasets.
- Partner directly with hardware engineering clients to gather requirements and deliver tailored, impactful solutions.
- Play an active role in defining technical standards, architectural frameworks, and best practices.
- Collaborate across engineering teams for comprehensive architecture reviews, design discussions, and code evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM field.
- 5+ years of professional software or data engineering experience.
- Proven ability designing scalable systems or web applications using Python, Go, or comparable programming languages.
- Strong ability to manage priorities independently in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork capabilities.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with real-time streaming data frameworks such as Apache Kafka, Beam, or Flink.
- Experience with database technologies, both relational and non-relational, such as PostgreSQL, Timescale, Pinot, or similar.
- Proficiency in data visualization and analytical tools like Grafana, Metabase, PowerBI, or Jupyter Notebooks.
- Solid grasp of DevOps best practices including continuous integration, automated testing, monitoring, and version control.
- Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks like React or similar.
Security Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain US Secret clearance.
