Software Engineer Consultant/Expert

Job Description:

• We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our innovative application.
• You will be responsible for building and maintaining both the frontend and backend of our application, using a combination of cutting-edge technologies and best practices.

Skills Required:
Frontend (React.js):

• Develop user interfaces using React.js, following best practices and component- based architecture.
• Build reusable components and UI libraries for efficient development.
• Collaborate with backend developers to design and implement data fetching and API integration. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks for the frontend.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the user interface.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in frontend development.

Backend (Microservices):

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Node.js, Typescript, and PostgreSQL.
• Implement RESTful APIs for communication between microservices and the frontend.
• Collaborate on defining and implementing domain models based on domain- driven design principles.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code using TypeScript.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks for the backend.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backend services.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in microservice architecture.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for building high-quality software.

Skills Preferred:

• Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively with other developers, designers, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Proactively identify and address potential technical challenges.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with IBM Loopback 4 or other similar frameworks.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design principles.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Mocha.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with GitHub Actions for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
• Experience with Nginx as a load balancer and reverse proxy.
• Experience with Consul for service discovery in a microservices architecture

Experience Required:

• 6+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
• Strong understanding of both frontend and backend development principles.
• Expertise in React.js and Node.js
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Experience with TypeScript or other strongly typed languages.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
