As a Software Engineer at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of software professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. You will be helping us solve the world's most difficult challenges supporting such wide-ranging domain areas such as aircraft flight command and control, air traffic control, health care, and homeland defense. We are a matrix engineering and technology organization so you will touch multiple programs over your career!
What You Will Be Doing
As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Develop Embedded Software
-Develop Software for a high-fidelity Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS) and Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) System
-Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications
-Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
-Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
-Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
-Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

Basic Qualifications
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must also be able to obtain an interim secret prior to start. Must be a US Citizen.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
