Job Description:
Seeking an enthusiastic engineer to join our DevOps team responsible for maintaining and enhancing development pipelines on multiple product lines. This diverse role is central to the team's operations in SW development engineering cycles: product development through change management process, solution packaging and release, test management and test automation. This position also oversees infrastructure management for elements of software development, system (database) administration using GIT, JIRA and Jenkins over Cloud platform in a growing software organization across multiple locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include developing web application and automation framework solutions exploiting GIT, JIRA and Jenkins to provide information services, tool and process customizations, and to enhance the capabilities of the tools and support the build management tasks (package creation for customer specific builds). Job requires hands-on involvement in rollout and day-to-day maintenance activities related to the DevOps tools across the organization. In this role, maintaining and improving organization's execution excellence via consistent processes and robust tools is expected.
Candidates with strengths in the following areas are strongly preferred and highly desirable:
Python Development, PHP Web Development, XML/XHTML, SQL/MySQL/Postgres or equivalent.
Git/Gerrit/Jenkins administration, Linux/Windows system administration & build toolchain expertise.
Diverse software packaging experience: signing, security best practices, diverse build environments (firmware, drivers, utilities) for ARM/x86 architectures.
Docker / containers and/or virtualization experience.
Experience with GIT,JIRA, and Jenkins is a big plus, otherwise, candidate must be willing to learn the tools to function in support and admin roles.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering field with a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience or Master's degree in Engineering field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills & debugging skills.
Excellent communication skills, as well as a critical thinker and self-starter.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $73,000 - $117,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
