This position will be part of the IERP API Enablement and Enhancements teams in the Enterprise Architecture - Foundational Products group and this team is responsible to provide API Enablement and Enhancements development services using ABAP programming and ODATA services in S4 HANA. Job Description:
This position will be part of the IERP API Enablement and Enhancements teams in the Enterprise Architecture - Foundational Products group and this team is responsible to provide API Enablement and Enhancements development services using ABAP programming and ODATA services in S4 HANA. Below are the high-level.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Design and develop APIs to connect to SAP/Non-SAP using RFC, ALE/IDOCs, Output Programming using SAP Script, Smart forms, Adobe Forms.
- Integration with Non-SAP systems using Web Services/Proxies/APIs.
- Experience designing and maintaining Core Data Services (CDS) views and AMDP classes.
- Enhancing SAP system using BADI's, User exits, Customer exits and enhancement framework options
- Build RICEFW's (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows)
- Experience with IDOC and API Integrations using OData API, SOAP API and IDOC as XML.
- Good understanding of XML, JSON, SOAP, API and REST Web services
- Performance Tuning, problem solving skills and Debugging/Defect Management
- Strong experience in ABAP programming and development of ODATA services (preferably OOPS based).
- Good experience in ABAP Syntax 7.5 and in BRF+ and in SAP upgrade projects
- To consult with architects to ensure design compliant to architecture standards and principles
- Reviews code developed by software engineers and provide feedback to ensure quality deliverable
- Ensures technical inspections are performed at appropriate stages of development
- Lead creation of production support documentation and provide production support for the objects developed
- Minimum 2 full SAP life cycle S/4 implementations experience, preferably in the Finance, Purchasing and Manufacturing modules
- Exposure to SAP RISE, BTP integration tools, RAP and CAP is preferred
Skills Required:
- S4 HANA ABAP 7.5 ODATA API RICEFW CDS/AMDP
Skills Preferred:
- Agile methodology BTP Fiori/UI5 RAP CAP SAP RISE
Experience Required:
- 7 to 8 years of experience in ABAP programming with atleast 2 full lifecycle ERP implementation projects
Experience Preferred:
- Experience in BTP and Cloud integration
Education Required:
- Any graduate.
