Key Duties:
- Provide systems architecture for new system components.
- Interface with the customer to define requirements.
- Provide programming solutions for new components.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
- 3 or more years of experience with Python.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing, including process orchestration, interprocess communications, and cloud compatibility.
- Excellent data analysis skills, including statistics and numeric stability.
- High School diploma or equivalent and 6 or more years of directly related experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Prior Python web and database Data Science experience.
- Experience with NumPy, SciPy, and PyTorch.
- Experience with Ada, RedHat Linux, Shell, Object Oriented Design, and/or design architecture.
- Previous experience working in the aerospace and/or Defense industry.
- Experience with Linux web development (JavaScript).
- Familiarity with FORTRAN, MATLAB, and/or JSON.
- Experience with avionics software simulations and Monte Carlo simulations.
- Experience modelling physical systems including, avionics and/or rocket engine propulsion.
- Experience with one or more of the following tools and methods: JIRA, Bitbucket (git), and/or Confluence.
- Experience participating on an Agile Scrum team that practices swarming and shared design philosophy.
