Software Engineer

Mhlbauer, Incseeks to hire an experiencedSoftware Engineerlocated in the Newport News, VA area. The ideal candidates are goal-oriented and have a practice-oriented approach to be able to look at a problem from the user's perspective and develop solutions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop real-time machine controls in personalization systems and placement equipment in the semiconductor industry
• Implement software to control the production and further processing of RFID smart labels as well as semiconductor components
• Extend and optimize existing processes
• Adapt and further develop the associated user interface (GUI)
• Check external specifications and create internal requirement specifications
• Generate and execute test scenarios for software and hardware components

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering or field directly related to the position
• Three of more years of software developer experience
• Knowledge of software development under C / C++
• Technical understanding in the mechanical and electronic area
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with attentiveness to details
