Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated software; designing and implementing new features of MATLAB; writing high quality code for designing extensible software using software engineering principles, patterns and methodologies, performance monitoring and integration; participating in all aspects of product development from requirements gathering and design to implementation, qualification and validation; coordinating work with cross-functional team members in engineering, quality engineering, user experience, and documentation; increasing productivity and bringing quality features to market; working towards enhancing the software architectural designs to meet new vision and requirements; and collaborating with subject matter experts in pursuit of continuous improvement of designs and modeling strategies. May telecommute up to 40%.

Minimum Qualifications:
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no experience.
Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three [3] years of experience as a Software Engineer (or related occupation).
Position requires demonstrable experience with each of the following:
Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB, Python and C++, including object- oriented design and analysis in MATLAB and C++ according to design patterns and data structures; Demonstrated expertise designing and developing software to inter-operate with third party deep learning frameworks -- PyTorch, ONNX and TensorFlow; Demonstrated expertise applying statistical methods -- linear algebra, probability, and mathematical optimization -- and machine learning methods -- classification and regression -- to build statistical tools and machine learning applications; and Demonstrated expertise in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including functional design, architecture design, implementation, and testing.
Experience may be gained during graduate program. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
