Description:
Software Engineer, Halo Industries, Santa Clara, CA. Responsibilities: Develop and
maintain fullstack software applications; Develop and maintain applications and algorithms for
machine control; Debug and resolve technical issues; Create graphical user interfaces; Create
web client interfaces; Convert data into dashboard visualizations; Database and backend code
maintenance; Develop algorithms for applications; Monitor the performance of internal software
systems; Conduct unit tests; and Follow agile development methodologies. Must live within a
normal commuting distance to office. Must report to office at least 3x/week.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
and 1 year of experience with fullstack software development gained through professional
experience. Must also possess: 1 year of experience with PostgreSQL queries making schemas,
tables and efficient data retrieval; 1 year of experience with C#, C++, C, Python and JavaScript;
1 year of experience with Git source control; and 1 year of experience with Jira project
management tools and Bitbucket. Must successfully complete competency-based interview.
