DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Drive automation across Small Medium Merchant (SMB) to increase speed to market and achieve consistent high-quality releases by implementing best practices, tools, metrics, an automation framework, and oversight. Construct a framework from Scratch for complete end-to-end automation for Smart Terminal, Chase POS Android, and iOS. Serve as key member of automation team, which involves mobile, web, and API, and conduct daily SDET calls to discuss improvements and best practices for speed to market. Implement the best practice of live reporting using test case management tools across the SMB. Implement visual validation regression testing using Applitools integration with Appium and Selenium Web drivers for look-and-feel testing of mobile screens. Implement wrapper code to notify Live qTest automation results via Teams and Outlook so the leadership team receives results. Implement Awaitility Libraries, which avoid synchronization issues while running automation scripts. Test native apps on both Android and iOS. Drive Live Reporting and perform web service automation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, I.T. Consultant, I.T. Test Engineer, I.T. Specialist, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Leading an automation team across Teams; using both Appium and Java with Sauce Labs for Mobile Automation; Web automation using WebDriver IO with Java script; web automation using Selenium Web driver with Java; relational databases including MSSQL; No SQL DB including MongoDB; Visual Automation for ADA color contrast with Applitools; debugging automation failures and providing resolutions.
