The Intelligent System Experience Engineering organization is looking for a driven and dedicated Software QE Manager. As a member of our dynamic group, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of leading the quality efforts for the most iconic operating systems - iOS, iPadOS, macOS & visionOS. This team works on some of the core system applications such as Setup, Settings, Clock, Alarms, Calculator and many more. In this role, you will work closely with Engineering, other QE and SDET Managers on delivering the highest quality experience to our customers.

Description
As a Software QE Manager, you will lead a team of 5-6 QA Engineers & will be responsible for many projects on iOS & macOS. You will work closely with your team, other software engineers, project managers and various quality teams at Apple. You will coordinate testing with other teams, review test plans and related documentation, monitor progress, and provide sign-offs at key milestones. You will process data from multiple sources, draw meaningful conclusions, and present valuable recommendations to leadership. You will also be expected to contribute as an individual contributor.
YOUR MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Manage a team of 5-6 QA Engineers
- Develop, modify, and execute test strategies, plans, and programs
- Coordinate and optimize testing in a cross-functional environment
- Work with Automation team to come up with automation plan
- Reporting, providing sign-offs & escalations of issues
- Actively participate in testing the deliverables
