Key Responsibilities:

  • Reverse Engineering and Debugging: Perform in-depth reverse engineering and debugging on existing software to identify and correct defects.
  • Vulnerability Research: Investigate open-source vulnerabilities related to software and develop methods to detect if running software is vulnerable.
  • Defect Identification: Analyze software to identify defects and provide effective solutions to correct them.
  • Technique Development: Develop innovative methods and techniques to enhance the identification and mitigation of software vulnerabilities.

Required Skills:

  • Low-Level Programming: Proficiency in low-level programming and assembly language.
  • Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of C, C++, and Python.
  • Reverse Engineering Tools: Experience with industry-standard reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, and other disassemblers/debuggers.

Desired Skills:

  • Embedded Systems: Experience in developing software for embedded systems.
  • Automation: Experience in automating reverse engineering tasks to streamline the analysis process.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least five (5) years of experience as a software reverse engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is preferred. However, four (4) years of additional reverse engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
