We are seeking a highly skilled Software Solutions Architect to support the MDHHS Health Services ESB, focusing on tracking message transmission and providing additional services supporting system interfaces connected to the Data Hub. This role requires extensive experience in healthcare IT and system integration, ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of critical business processes and data integrity.
Requirements
- Develop and implement solutions for new use cases within the Health Enterprise Service Bus (HESB).
- Oversee the overall system design and approve system configurations and code deliverables.
- Mentor and coach developers, guiding them in coding applications, interfaces, modules, and components.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure compliance with SEM/SUITE standards and secure applications.
- Manage the integration of healthcare standards such as HL7 messaging, FHIR, and CDA.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to state staff to enable maintenance and continuity of applications and systems.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare IT, with expertise in HL7 messaging, FHIR, CDA standards, and healthcare vocabularies (LOINC, SNOMED, RxNorm).
- Proficient in JavaScript programming, SQL, and XML.
- Experience in Health Information Exchange (HIE) technology and integrating Healthcare Enterprise (IHE).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Orion Health Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x) and Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK).
- Familiarity with web services such as SOAP, REST, OAUTH, and transport encryption/security protocols like TLS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
