The Role:
We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a skilled, highly motivated, and self-driven Software Test Engineer. Our ideal candidates are analytical with a keen eye for detail and obsession over quality. Top candidates will have experience testing consumer SaaS applications in an Agile environment using continuous integration, deployment, testing, and delivery strategies. This role will be responsible for logging and monitoring errors, and testing performance and load-time.

The Role:

This role will be responsible for logging and monitoring errors, and testing performance and load-time.
What you'll do:
- Contribute to software quality and timely release of industry leading software for the real-estate industry.
- Contribute to designing and developing test automation for different types of testing including E2E, UI, API, integration, performance and more.
- Develop and execute test plans and manual test cases
- Understand system requirements and validate whether the application works as per requirements.
- Efficiently validate backend systems, including but not limited to APIs, analytics, etc.
- Involved in test case execution, functional testing, regression testing and Usability testing
- Report bugs by using the bug tracking tool and tracked issue records
- Expected to be the champion of quality on the team and drive the quality mindset with coaching and mentoring.
- Contribute to and lead process improvement initiatives to improve quality.
- Act as the customer to the development team and contribute with fresh ideas and user centric views.
- Collaborate with a team comprising product managers, developers and other QEs.
- Identify and communicate risks about our releases.
- Look beyond your specific area of responsibility and ensure our solutions deliver value to our customers.
- Experience Developing/maintaining Automation Test architecture, framework and automation tests would be a plus

What you'll bring:
- Minimum 3 years experience in testing
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Understanding of testing strategies
- Expertise in creating test plans and writing test cases
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies.
- Strong interest and focus on the user experience and quality
- Good understanding of CI/CD process and quality checks in the workflow
- Strength in one or more automation testing tools (e.g. Selenium, WebDriver, JMeter, SoapUI, Watir)
- Proven ability to translate functional requirements and use cases into working test plans and test cases
- Track record of driving positive change, collaboratively implementing QE processes that have improved quality metrics
- Experience testing a SAAS product with a strong focus on quality throughout the entire software development cycle
- Independent and can manage your own projects and time with ease, all the while setting and managing stakeholder expectations
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to make data-driven decisions
- Passion for quality engineering and the latest technology standards
- Strong communication skills with a growth and learning mindset
