SolarWinds System Administrator

Role Description: As a SolarWinds System Administrator, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and configuration of the SolarWinds Server and Application Monitor (SAM) along with other modules. Serving as a subject matter expert, you will possess a deep understanding of SolarWinds SAM, including design, troubleshooting, and configuration aspects. Your role will revolve around supporting network operations to ensure system availability by effectively monitoring and controlling system and network resources. Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and administering/supporting SolarWinds ORION components such as Network Performance Monitor (NPM), SAM, IP Address Manager (IPAM), Network Configuration Manager (NCM), NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA), and Network Topology Mapper (NTM). Additionally, you will have extensive experience in application monitoring through SolarWinds SAM, covering areas such as SQL, Active Directory, Exchange, services, URLs, etc.

Essential Skills:

• Implementation, maintenance, and configuration of SolarWinds SAM and other modules
• Proficiency in design, troubleshooting, and configuration of SolarWinds SAM
• Installation, configuration, and administration/support of SolarWinds ORION components
• Extensive experience in application monitoring using SolarWinds SAM, including SQL, Active Directory, Exchange, services, URLs, etc.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in AppInsight for SQL and logfile monitoring
• Configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of SolarWinds and related network management system tools
• Ability to provide customized reports and schedule them
• Capacity planning expertise
