Nakupuna Solutions is seeking a talented and experienced Solution Architect to support our NIWC and Defense Health client. This position will play pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative technology solutions that address complex business challenges and support our company's strategic goals. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and system engineers, to ensure the solutions are technically sound, scalable, secure, and meet the specific needs of the organization.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or a similar technical design role.
Clearance Requirements: This position requires an active Public Trust security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical solutions.
- Design and architect IT solutions encompassing infrastructure, software applications, cloud services, and security.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies based on scalability, performance, cost, and integration needs.
- Develop and document solution roadmaps, considering future growth and technology advancements.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and assess potential risks associated with proposed solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to other technical resources.
- Document technical designs, architecture decisions, and solution roadmaps.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions across various technologies (e.g., cloud platforms, data centers, applications).
- Strong understanding of system architecture principles, including scalability, security, and performance considerations.
- Experience with infrastructure technologies (on-premises and/or cloud-based).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with specific technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.) a plus.
