Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and technical skilled Solution Architect to lead and shape the technology landscape of our Ambulance business unit in the US. In this role, you will be driving the design and implementation of innovative, scalable, and efficient technology solutions that align with our business objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring the integration of systems, applications, and processes to optimize our operations and support our growth strategies.

Essential Functions:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define technology strategies that enhance the business unit's performance, efficiency, and competitiveness.
  • Evaluate current technology infrastructure and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that aligns with the long-term business goals of the unit.
  • Design end-to-end technology solutions that address business needs while considering scalability, security, and integration requirements.
  • Provide architectural oversight to ensure that projects adhere to established architectural principles and standards.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to define detailed technical specifications and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Establish and enforce technology governance processes to ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending adoption strategies as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular architecture reviews and audits to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities, and translate them into actionable architectural solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with key business leaders, fostering open communication and alignment between technology and business strategies.
  • Provide input on project prioritization and resource allocation based on architectural considerations.
  • Support project teams by providing architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure that projects are executed in accordance with architectural plans and within established timelines.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in solution and/or business architecture, with a focus on aligning technology solutions with business objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of architectural frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze problems, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in collaboration and negotiation, with the ability to influence decision-making across different levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance standards, and emerging technologies.
