As a Solution Architect you will partner with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to architect scalable and innovative data science solutions in various technology domains such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Big Data, or Internet of Things (IoT) using both on prem and cloud-based platforms.
In this role, you will need to be technically sound and capable of crafting innovative end-to-end designs to solve complex business problems. We are looking for team members who love learning and introducing new technologies to build solutions that drive value for the business. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working as a data engineer supporting data science or advanced analytics solutions, preferably in both on prem and cloud-based infrastructures. You will have the ability to dive deep into various hands-on solutions while developing new skills, so you can make strong contributions to architecture transformation decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable production-ready advanced analytic, and data science solutions.
- Implement solutions that eliminate or minimize technical debt through a well-designed architecture, data model, and lifecycle.
- Bring together and share best-practice knowledge among the data science and solution architect community.
- Coach, mentor, and help develop data engineers and data scientist.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
- 5+ years of experience in architecting, data modeling, and developing large-scale enterprise data solutions and business applications in any business domain (Sales/Finance/Supply Chain/HR/Procurement) preferably using Snowflake.
- 10+ years' experience in designing and developing database architecture, Data Warehouse Business Intelligence & Data Science solutions.
- Big data solution development ( either on-prem/cloud, cloud is preferred )
- Snowflake ( other MPP warehousing is fine, snowflake is preferred)
- K8S application development
- 3+ years of cloud experience preferably with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in designing and developing business applications and data solutions in combination with Snowflake.
- Expertise in Python programming languages and strong experience in YAML.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scheduling tools is desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with management and developers with a track record of significant direct interaction and peer leadership with partners across the company.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional groups, with diverse interests and requirements, to a common objective.
- Demonstrable ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in designing, developing and operationalizing AI/ML and deep learning models will be an added advantage.
