HCA Healthcare ITG Solution Architects are innovative individuals who drive changes for people, policies and processes. The Solution Architect utilizes technical and business expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and resolve issues to ensure automation program requirements are met. Solution Architects contribute to driving HCA Healthcare's technical automation program through broad policy decision based on strategic business or IT objectives. Automation Architects provide technical direction for automation development teams through consulting, solution design and review. Solution Architects provide direction for HCA Healthcare's technical automation strategy by being able to connect use cases with the appropriate technology or tool. Individuals also serve as leaders in the development community, providing tools and best practices for automation developers to be successful. Solution Architects work with business units to help them define and execute automation strategies, and layout the architecture of how those programs should function. Solution Architects have ownership of the technical automation program as assigned.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide technical and automation consulting services to ITG and Business Units

Conduct architectural evaluation, design and analysis of information and process systems

Ensure automation implementation teams deliver robust system solutions

Develop, enhance and maintain established service design procedures and processes to assure apt and robust solution and service design

Partner with Enterprise Architecture with the automation team to assure constant compliance of strategic blueprints and architecture

Review process assessments and understand applications of automation technology in different business domains

Identify reusable components, manage configurable parameters, queues and robot schedules

Drive design best practices, troubleshoot design/code related issues

Analyze business processes to suggest process improvements and automation solutions around them

Develop and maintain automation testing best practices and standards for enterprise use

Works directly with automation community to be a point of contact for architectural questions, solutioning, and review

Establish and support service management standards for automation Drives the development / implementation of automation work products.

Thoroughly tests developed products. Establishes standards of scripts and work products developed so others can update / utilize.

Prepares specifications of a highly technical or complex nature.

Analyzes user specifications and requirements.

Identifies opportunities for process improvements.

Develops best practices for software design, retention, documentation, and deployment strategies for automation

Works directly with service operations, product, and vendor teams to resolve, prevent, and eliminate customer technology issues.

Gathers and documents business, user, functional and non-functional requirements for in scope products.

Establishes and maintains solid business relationships.

Actively owns and participates in lifecycle management of assigned applications and infrastructure.

May provide afterhours/on-call support for applications.

Has the ability resolve simple to complex production support issues.

Serves as project management or leadership role in managing work efforts

Training and mentoring of peers and other staff

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree - Information Systems

EXPERIENCE

5 or more years of experience in a Systems Engineering, Automation, or Development - Required

Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS & TRAINING

UiPath Certified RPA Associate (UiRPA) - Preferred

UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) - Preferred

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Understanding of HCA Healthcare's IT organization and its business functions - Required
