Solutions Engineer - UI/UX Expert and Leader.Contract Type: Full-time
Role Overview:
Band of Coders is looking for a Solution Engineer with deep UI/UX expertise to work closely with the Sales team in designing and implementing high-impact digital solutions. This role requires combining technical skills and user-centered design expertise to ensure our products are functional and visually compelling.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of technical solutions that integrate a strong UI/UX approach with technical feasibility.
-Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into effective product solutions.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, stakeholders, and clients) to define, test, and refine intuitive and effective user interfaces.
-Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to identify opportunities for improving user experience.
-Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to translate concepts into tangible solutions.
-Utilize research methodologies such as affinity diagrams, card sorting, heuristic analysis, and storyboarding to enhance design decisions.
-Ensure solutions meet accessibility standards and incorporate best practices for usability.
-Provide mentorship and leadership within the design and development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
-Work closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and effectively communicate design strategies to clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-6+ years of experience in UI/UX design, product design, and software solutions.
-Experience in industries such as fintech, social media, automotive, or mapping technologies.
-Strong expertise in brand design, information architecture, navigation, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
-Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Miro, and Jira.
-Solid experience conducting user research, usability testing, heuristic analysis, and developing user personas.
-Strong analytical skills to synthesize user data into actionable insights.
-Experience designing for responsive web applications and decentralized platforms is a plus.
-Familiarity with front-end development concepts is a bonus.
-Proven leadership experience, including mentoring junior designers or leading design initiatives.
-Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and solutions clearly to stakeholders.
