The Role:
As a Solutions Systems Engineer, you will work collaboratively with the Solutions Engineering team and other departments to produce artifacts for customer projects. Ideally, you will have working knowledge of pharmacy systems necessary for the installation, operational details, and use of business rules and processes necessary to provide customers and other departments internally with artifacts used to detail the system being implemented.

Compensation: The estimated base annual salary range for this position is $78,853.65 to $106,684.35, though a candidate's base annual salary shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience. This position may additionally be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

As a Solutions Systems Engineer, you will work collaboratively with the Solutions Engineering team and other departments to produce artifacts for customer projects. Ideally, you will have working knowledge of pharmacy systems necessary for the installation, operational details, and use of business rules and processes necessary to provide customers and other departments internally with artifacts used to detail the system being implemented.
What you'll do:
- Assist in the planning, documenting, and engineering of multiple software and hardware-based projects.
- Review and understand the implementation and design of both hardware and software.
- Document requirements, review contracts and technical proposals, and create validation strategies.
- Compose memos, transcribe notes, generate reports, and research and create presentations for internal and external use as needed on a project basis.
- Assist with operational tasks required of the department and product such as project planning, sales proposals, and project documentation.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in software or industrial engineering
- 3+ years of experience in system design and development
- Has experience with writing database queries (particularly SQL)
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- High familiarity with workflow software and its integration with hardware
- Familiar with CAD software and Smartsheet
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the software development and industrial engineering fields
- Has knowledge of the Healthcare IT industry with particular focus in Pharmacy workflow
- Demonstrated experience identifying potential problem areas proactively vs. reactively
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Driven and motivated to learn new technology and practices quickly
- Willingness to travel as needed.
