Summary: As a Cattron Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies and best practices that align with corporate objectives in the assigned region(s) and categories. Your role will focus on strategic supply and relationship management, emphasizing total landed cost optimization, risk, and flexibility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective development and execution of sourcing plans, driving value and efficiency across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Global Sourcing & Negotiation:
- Develop, execute, and manage assigned commodity strategies in support of business objectives.
- Negotiate supplier contracts and agreements to optimize the total cost of ownership and terms.
- Serve as subject matter expert in assigned commodities, leveraging industry insight and market analytics to drive sourcing decisions.
Supplier Management & Innovation:
- Own and drive supplier selection, development, and overall relationship management.
- Establish supplier optimization strategies to balance cost, quality, and risk.
- Collaborate with regional purchasing to monitor supplier performance using data-driven KPI's to lead continuous improvement initiatives using a balanced scorecard approach.
- Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers to drive innovation and align with technology roadmaps and emerging trends.
- Ensures early supplier involvement in product development, leveraging supplier expertise to enhance quality, manufacturability, cost, and time to market.
Cost & Risk Management:
- Identify and implement year-over-year cost improvement initiatives.
- Utilize data analytics and market intelligence to track cost trends, forecast supply chain risk, and optimize working capital.
- Develop and execute on long-term cost savings pipeline.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance procurement processes,
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
- Provide guidance and support to supply chain personnel on procurement planning best practices and critical supply issues requiring escalation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience developing and executing sourcing strategies in a high mix environment.
- Strong negotiation skills backed by cost modeling and analytical practices.
- Experience in developing long-term agreements and enforcement throughout the product life cycle.
- Demonstrated expertise in establishing and managing vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance and collaboration.
- Experience and awareness of international trade requirements and compliance.
- Effective communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Able to transform data into actionable insights and present to large audiences (in person and virtually).
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and materials within the electronics category, including PCBA and electronics assembly manufacturing.
- Understanding of drawings and schematics (mechanical and electrical).
- Comfortable with data-driven management and data tools, and analysis.
- Collaborative and influential leader - transparent and authentic in action, collaboration, and decision making.
- Accountable initiative-taker who will take ownership and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead collaboratively in multicultural and geographically dispersed environments.
- MS Office skills / Strong competence with MS Excel. Syteline ERP a plus.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor's degree and equivalent experience will be considered.
- 10+ years experience in global electronics sourcing and procurement (sourcing, commodity management, supplier relationship management).
- A master's degree or relevant certifications (CSCP / CPSM) are a plus.
