SUMMARY OF DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Minimum Qualifications
1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in administration, health care planning, business administration, public administration or an approved related discipline; and one (1) year experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, business personnel and labor relations, finance or an appropriate functional discipline, related administrative or managerial functions; or
2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines as described in "1" above, and two (2) years' experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, business personnel and labor relations, finance or an appropriate functional discipline, related administrative or managerial functions.

Job Description
SUMMARY OF DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages executive communications, including ensuring all correspondence is handled in a timely manner.
- Conducts research to compile, analyze, and present data for consideration and determination of policy questions.
- Plans, coordinates, and oversees high-level meetings, conferences, and events. Takes and distributes minutes of proceedings, prepares comprehensive agendas and makes all necessary meeting arrangements.
- Plans, establishes and integrates programs within the System in conjunction with facility executives and the System's Staff.
- Contributes to strategic planning processes and assists in the implementation of organizational initiatives at the executive level.
- Assists in developing various reports and studies pertaining to a broad scope of corporate functions including departmental reorganization, transfer of personnel and determining means of expediting potential programs while improving current operations.
- Maintains liaison between the Corporate Executive, various governmental agencies and community organizations and the appropriate divisions as necessitated by the planning and development of specific programs.
- Provides administrative support and may supervise administrative personnel in the executive office; plans and reviews work assigned. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of NYC Health + Hospitals' policies, practices, and procedures.
- Provides overall project/program management activities including utilizing project/program management tools and techniques to organize, plan, execute, report and evaluate project/program objectives.
- Manages the schedule of the CEO and other Executive staff.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned by the CEO.
