Job Summary:
The position is a Special Education Teachers District Wide

Qualifications:
- Appropriate NJ Teacher certifications required. (Teacher of Students with Disabilities with Instructional certification or Teacher of the Handicapped)
- ABA experience preferred
- Work with students with emotional disabilities.
- Experience working with students with autism or behavioral disabilities.
- Teach and assess curriculum in specified content area(s) in collaboration with classroom teacher(s) based on specific IEP goals and objectives, NJSLS and Roselle Public Schools curriculum (6 instructional periods per day)
- Daily supervision of students
- All required lesson/unit planning
- Frequent and professional communication with colleagues and families
- Homeroom responsibilities (both AM and PM)
- Attend all required staff meetings, PD days and mandatory evening events such as Back to School Night, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and Spring Open House
