Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of a project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within a research or healthcare setting and a thorough understanding of project requirements.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of the project, ensuring alignment with objectives and requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, clinicians, and external collaborators, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Manage the project budget, track expenditures, and ensure compliance with financial reporting guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports, maintaining strict adherence to all reporting standards.
  • Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, healthcare regulations, and ethical standards in research.
  • Stay current with policies, grant management practices, and relevant industry trends.

Requirements

We're looking for a Project Manager who's passionate about using technology to help patients and doctors. You have expertise in the following areas:

Required Qualifications:
  • Baccalaureate degree in the appropriate field of study. Master's Degree in healthcare or scientific field, preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in project management or product owner
  • Strong experience working and managing development teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to organize complex information and to communicate complex information across diverse teams
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and quickly shift priorities as necessary
  • Detail oriented
  • Analytical and inquisitive
  • Strong writing skills
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Adaptable and flexible style of collaborating with key stakeholders in setting direction
  • Big Picture Thinking or Design Thinking
  • High IQ and High EQ


Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and/or direct experience with clinical applications and data such as EHR/EMR, care/case management, practice management, CPOE
  • Experience in Agile software development methodology, SCRUM master highly desirable
  • Experience project managing clinical research projects or large scale studies
  • Comfortable facilitating discussions at all levels and resolving conflicts and capable of working in ambiguously defined situations, environments and projects
  • Shows initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness
  • Able to operate in flat organization structures under multiple direct and indirect bosses
  • Understanding of Social Determinants of Health and their relationship to health status and healthcare delivery
  • Familiarity with the use of analytics products in evaluation of quality of care, utilization and efficiency
  • Experience with standardized healthcare terminologies/vocabularies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the healthcare delivery system and the care delivery environment
  • Prior experience building a SaaS product
