The following general qualifications are preferred:
- A proven record of academic excellence, BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative degrees
- At 1 years of working experience as a data scientist, practical experience with:
- Working with large data files, complex data structures
- Proven record of data extraction, data manipulation and transformation
- Applying machine learning algorithms to solve practical problems
- Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- An innovative and collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Natural self-direction, with the ability to operate in ambiguity and learn quickly
- Eagerness to collaborate, coach, mentor, and help others grow professionally
- Willingness to work globally, travel to the project location
- Proficiency in programming languages geared toward data scientists - Python, R preferred.
Main duties:
- Contribute to delivery of analytic solutions (predictive models, statistical analysis, data-driven reports);
- Collect, analyzing and provide actionable recommendations based on the internal, client data or data collected from external sources;
- Present data analysis conclusions internally or to our clients;
- Plan, manage and conduct customer research (ethnographic research, survey analytics, other);
- Conduct analysis to support the design and definition of visions for product, service, experience or new business line
- Identify business development opportunities and develop proposals for new engagements with clients;
- Collaborate with global specialists, experts and partners to bridge client capability gaps and drive tangible outcomes;
- Consult internally on the suitable methodology for data collection (e.g. type of quantitative survey) and data analysis
