The opportunity:
Reporting to the Associate Vice-President, Central Overlay Group, Operations, the Specialist, Wealth Products will leverage strong communication skills to provide exceptional and timely administrative support to Advisors, Products & Platforms, Sub-Advisors and their teams. As a subject matter expert in separately managed accounts, the incumbent will play an integral role in the SMA/UMA managed programs offered by Wellington-Altus.
The Specialist, Wealth Products will be responsible for complex processing, key contact for service escalations, creation and implementation of controls, operational reporting, trade support and relationship management inside and outside Wellington-Altus.

The Specialist, Wealth Products will be responsible for complex processing, key contact for service escalations, creation and implementation of controls, operational reporting, trade support and relationship management inside and outside Wellington-Altus.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as subject matter expert in all operational aspects of the Wellington-Altus managed platforms, ensuring timely account opening, investment and ongoing support.
- Undertaking complex processing and quality control along with assessing and mitigating operational errors.
- Providing comprehensive data extracts, statistics and reporting for management, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across platforms.
- Collaborating closely with the managed platform trading teams including support/backup for trading activities.
- Evaluating and implementing technology solutions to enhance managed platform operations.
- Acting as a key contact for new product launches/changes; ensuring documentation, processes are reviewed and updated if required, communicating changes in a timely manner and the operational team is ready for implementation.
- Working with the Senior Vice-President, Operations and Associate Vice-President, Central Overlay Group, Operations, to design and implement a white glove service model to support our managed accounts program, ensuring proactive communication with Investment Advisors and internal partners, creating and implementing of SLA including reporting to key stakeholders.
- Acting as an escalation point between Investment Advisors and the Central Overlay Group to facilitate active communication and resolve operational issues, implementing new products, rebalance activities and resolve operational issues.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with project teams, internal and external stakeholders as well as collaborating with business partners, custodians, third-party vendors, and advisory teams to facilitate effective operations that foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Participating in managed products projects, working closely with TXO and vendors to add or improve the product shelf.
- Participating in system implementations, enhancements and upgrades that require managed products subject matter input, testing, and validation.
- Preparing, executing, and documenting test cases/results in relation to managed products implementations and enhancements.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field of study is required.
- A minimum of 8 years experience in a wealth management firm is required.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in separately managed account programs is required
- A minimum of 5 years experience with portfolio management systems is required, Envestnet Preferably.
- Supervisory experience an asset.
- Completion of CSC, CPH, or IFIC Certification is an asset.
- High-level of MS Office acumen specifically around Excel and PowerPoint is required.
- Experience with Envestnet, Kyndryl, NetRep, and Croesus is a strong asset.

- A high tolerance for ambiguity; highly adaptive and able to manage a large volume of competing priorities.
- Strong critical thinking and written and verbal communication skills.
