Working closely with our Specifications Writer, you'll manage the systems and information that drive high-quality, coordinated project manuals. Salary Range: $ 74,600 - $115,500 annually. Compensation and level DOE. Salary range is representative of California and will be adjusted by location.

As a Specifications Coordinator, you will...
- Collaborate with the Specifications Writer to produce and update project specifications.
- Coordinate with design teams to track project schedules and ensure timely preparation and delivery of specifications.
- Collect and organize current drawings and relevant product data, ensuring completeness before specification production begins.
- Perform thorough and efficient research on building products, materials, and systems to support accurate and up-to-date specifications.
- Communicate with product representatives to gather up-to-date technical information and performance criteria.
- Compile and format project manuals and addenda according to firm standards and client or agency requirements.
- Maintain clear and consistent document organization, file naming conventions, and digital archive structures.
- Format specifications documents to align with project requirements.
- Provide formatting resources and support to external consultants contributing to project specifications.
- Associate degree or higher in architecture, construction management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in architectural, engineering, or construction environments, preferably in a documentation or specifications-related role.
- Completion of or eligibility for the Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification.
- Working knowledge of construction drawings, building materials, and industry terminology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Word and Bluebeam Revu.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and respectfully across diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Understanding of building codes, sustainability standards (such as LEED or WELL), and construction contract administration practices.
