District WideRSU 40 is looking for a caring, and compassionate speech language pathologist to work with students grades K-6.
A successful candidate will be able to:
- Demonstrate an ability to assess all areas of speech and language development, provide direct instruction to students, and consult with team members in a collaborative manner.
- Develop individualized goals and Individualized Education Plans consistent with state / federal laws and regulations.
- Provide case management for students with speech / language disabilities.
- Implement programs in the least restrictive environment appropriate for the student.
- Collaborate with other speech language pathologists to implement a comprehensive program at all district levels.
Qualifications / Certification Requirements:
- Master's Degree
- Maine State License in Speech-Language Pathology
- Criminal History Records Check (fingerprinting) approval through the Maine Department of Education
