What's the position?
The Sportsbook Program Director is a pivotal role within our organization, reporting directly to the SVP Sportsbook. This position serves as the hub for ensuring optimized flow and alignment across all Sportsbook teams. Managing a team of coordinators / business analysts, the Director will drive organizational efficiency and communication, ensuring all teams are connected and working cohesively. The Director will provide essential support to the sportsbook leadership team to ensure its effective operation. They will contribute to the development of sportsbook strategy and serve as a trusted sounding board for sportsbook leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Cross-functional Coordination: Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between the many teams in our sportsbook org.
- Leadership Team Support: Support the Sportsbook leadership team by managing agendas, recording minutes, tracking action items, ensuring accountability, and facilitating the efficient functioning of the leadership group.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a small team focused on effective communication and coordination.
- Communication Strategy: Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure information flow within, across, and external to Sportsbook teams.
- Organizational Meetings: Plan, organize, and facilitate key organizational meetings, ensuring they are productive and focused.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present reports and analyses to the SVP Sportsbook and other stakeholders, providing insights into operational efficiency and performance.
- Process Appraisal: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strategic Contribution:Contribute to the development and refinement of sportsbook strategy, providing valuable insights and serving as a sounding board for the leadership team.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in a high-paced technology environment, preferably within the online sportsbook industry.
- Strong understanding of digital operations and workflows.
- Experience in Program Management or Project Management would be beneficial
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate teams.
- Proficiency in preparing and delivering clear and concise communications using tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or similar).
- Strategic thinker with a creative and innovative mindset, thorough and decisive.
- Open-minded and adaptable, with a willingness to embrace change and drive continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to manage your working hours in recognition of sportsbetting being a 24/7 business
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
