We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the corporate accounting general ledger (GL), performing balance sheet reconciliations, helping to manage the consolidated close process, and assisting in the design, establishment, and monitoring of internal controls to ensure operating effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate accounting functions and programs
• Maintain and oversee the bookkeeping of the corporate general ledger
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist with the company's Annual Financial Statement Audit
• Perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified during the reconciliation process
• Prepare supporting documentation for all reconciliations and ensure they are in compliance with company policies
• Assist in managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated close process
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for accurate and timely financial reporting
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in designing, establishing, and monitoring internal control processes to ensure they are operating effectively
• Conduct regular assessments of internal controls and identify areas for improvement
• Provide recommendations for enhancing internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
• 4-6 years' experience in Accounting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a senior accounting role
• Public Accounting Experience with a "Big 4" firm preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (GAAP, IFRS)
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
