What we're looking for:
Envision Cold is searching for a top-notch Sr. Accountant who can make an immediate impact in this highly visible role within a fast-growing organization! In this position you will oversee site-level accounting operations for Envision Cold, including sites in both the U.S. and Canada. This role will be key in streamlining the month-end closing process, monitoring capital projects, and implementing our centralized payment system.
Candidates MUST reside in the Atlanta area. This position is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days a week onsite at our Corporate Office near Midtown.

In this position you will oversee site-level accounting operations for Envision Cold, including sites in both the U.S. and Canada. This role will be key in streamlining the month-end closing process, monitoring capital projects, and implementing our centralized payment system.

What you'll do (including, but not limited to):
- Manage month end close processes for 6-8 subsidiaries, including posting technical accounting entries, thorough review, and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Provide support and training to field accounting teams as necessary.
- Prepare and review corporate monthly journal entries.
- Assist with vendor bills related to corporate office expenses.
- Automate monthly reporting packages that include a full set of financial statements out of NetSuite and perform analytical review.
- Assist in implementation of treasury management system (Kyriba) and centralization of payment function.
- Apply understanding of US GAAP as we continuously improve Envision Cold accounting policies.
- Work with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit.
- Problem solve and analyze financial data related to assigned areas and accounts.
- Perform other duties as requested/needed.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in an Accounting/Reporting function.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and accounting controls.
- CPA Preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite highly preferred.
- Self-starter who could lead key accounting and financial processes both independently and as part of a team.
