As a Sr Quality Engineer at Honeywell, you will be a part of a team of Quality Engineers in Charlotte, NC the headquarters of the PPE business globally. This role requires the person to apply their expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements. You will drive process initiatives that ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations, and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance, and product quality. You will report directly to our IA Quality Engineering Director, and you'll work out of our Charlotte location/or PPE sites in the US on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the quality output and continuous improvement of our products, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Idea generation
Brainstorm solutions
Continuous improvement
Risk analysis
Coordinate resolution
Process definition
Auditor of process
Regulatory reviews
Cost improvement analysis
Drive technical solutions

MUST HAVE:
8-10 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Standard compliance, or risk control
Knowledgeable and experience in CFR 820, ISO9001, IATF 16949, ISO13485, AS9100
Knowledgeable in good manufacturing and lab practices
Knowledgeable in good documentation practices
Hands-on work ethic
Out-of-the-box thinking
Provide clear and concise communications
Greenbelt Certified
Proficient computer skills
Product Certification experience
Regulatory (FDA/MDA) experience
APQA experience
Knowledge of six sigma tools
Ability to partner with others on projects
Understanding of quality processes

WE VALUE:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
Comprehension and practical application of risk assessments
Experience certifying new products, working with global regulatory agencies, test labs, etc.
Distribution Center or Manufacturing Safety experience within the material handling solution industry
Experience in a fast paced, changing/growing organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
