Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of avionics products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform test requirements analysis and decomposition and to develop and trace test requirements
Integration for Product Test equipment supporting RCCA investigations.
Test/Product Debug & Troubleshooting
Verification and Validation
Documentation and related configuration management processes
User Instructions/Manuals
Customer Support
Setup test benches and equipment
Requirements creation and trace matrices
Oversee project Architecture and Concept designs
Design Reviews

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors in Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience
5 years minimum experience in product or test engineering hardware and/or software development, integration and support.
Systems Integration, Verification and Validation
Experience with avionics products & associated test equipment
Aircraft avionics user & I/O interfaces

Familiar with various communication protocols including RS-232, RS-429, 1553, TCP/IP and UDP Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, SCPI
Troubleshooting experience from the system level to the component level, using schematics and test equipment to effectively determine and remedy root causes
Individuals who assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations
Effectively using data to make intelligent decisions supporting recommendations to customers or for effective root cause & corrective action (RCCA)
Has the ability to manage a variety of complex tasks
Experience writing Test Procedures, Version Description Documents, & test equipment drawings and schematics.
Proven track record developing test software and/or hardware
Experience with environmental and EMI qualification testing following Mil-Std-810 and DO-160.
C/C++ programing languages
Linux/Unix experience
Experience with National Instruments suite of software, PXI hardware, knowledge of instrument communication, instrument drivers, emulators and/or Common ATE (CATE) instruments & resources
