Job Description

The USPI Corporate Strategy team focuses on data-driven support of growth initiatives across USPI markets including business development, service line expansion, and operational excellence to facilitate growth. The team advises and supports USPI's executive and market leadership teams on high-priority special projects, enterprise-wide initiatives and market assessments. The team plays a key role in providing data-driven insights along with building out tools to empower decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Work with operational and corporate leadership to understand performance of company growth initiatives
  • Provide analysis for various business functions, including but not limited to:
    • High priority special projects
    • Targeted, consulting-style projects to address growth or performance at various facilities across the portfolio
    • Business case for growth opportunities
    • Assessing performance and operationalization of strategic initiatives
    • Reporting on operational results
    • Supporting preparation of executive, board, and investor presentations
    • Supporting annual business planning process
  • Assist in implementing system-wide best practices, growth programs, and key strategic initiatives
  • Develop, maintain, enhance, and automate current and future dashboards and reports to track performance of operational and growth-focused metrics


Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree (or equivalent) in business, finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year experience in management consulting, investment banking, strategy, finance, or related functions
  • Commitment to the highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is critical
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word is required
  • Significant experience with business intelligence and decision support tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI)
  • Effective communication skills with all levels in the organization, with strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive to actionable solutions
  • Ability to think independently, and work through complex tasks.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn.
  • Quick learner with the capacity to work within tight deadlines.
  • Desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
