What you'll do

As the Senior Analyst, Logistics Finance, you will be a valuable member of the Operations Finance team, responsible for financial analysis, reporting, planning, and supporting our business partners on the transportation, warehousing, and supply planning teams. This role will play an integral part with month-end close activities, IBP reporting, 3PL cost updates and other ad-hoc assignments. This individual will work closely with Sr. Manager, Logistics Finance to refine current reporting models and analyses as well as put in place new reports and analytical tools to support the business. This individual will analyze transportation and warehousing rates to improve the visibility of our spend and help identify opportunities for productivity savings across the network. The impact of this role will be to deepen the understanding of logistics and inventory decisions through reporting and to track and predict variances.

How you'll do it
  • Partner with the Logistics team to develop and maintain reports to review for transportation and warehousing. Review costs for accuracy by doing comparisons versus prior month, budget, and LE for both transportation and warehousing.
  • Maintain monthly warehouse spend report and present to both internal and external warehouse teams to understand key drivers on variances.
  • Prepare and present period end reports versus budget for Logistics costs.
  • Complete month end analysis, including variance explanations, and share with Supply Chain Finance VP & Logistics teams.
  • Partner with Director of PMO & Analytics to review and update logistics productivity pipeline; Validate/track actuals savings of projects on periodic basis
  • Own the budgeting process by building costing models for all transportation, warehouse, and obsolete costs
  • Support accounting close via journal entries, reporting, and compiling slides for IBP driven discussions
  • Develop and own working capital reporting to highlight key areas of risk and opportunity by product line
  • Support Inventory Accuracy at Warehouse facilities
  • Ad-hoc assignments, as requested

You have...
  • 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in CPG
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve, research and interpret data
  • Excellent follow up skills/completion of tasks
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) required

Pluses
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards software a plus
  • Previous supply chain finance experience preferred

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $74,500.00 - $103,500.00. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
