Position Overview:
The Sr Analyst, US Tax Operations reports to the Director, US Tax Operations and has core responsibilities that support US federal and state income tax compliance and planning for the Company. What You'll Do
This role will support the US Tax Operations team and will focus primarily on federal and state income tax compliance and planning. Your role includes the following:
  • US Income Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation and review of federal and state income tax (or gross-receipt tax) returns. Drive process to automate and streamline recurring calculations and enhance standard work for overall analysis.
  • US Income Tax Strategy and Forecasts: Support the preparation and payment of quarterly federal and state tax estimates and extensions. Assist with preparation of ASC 740 analysis for quarterly reporting.
  • Income Tax Notices & Audits: Research notices and follow-up with written responses and/or compile necessary data. Assist with state tax audits and associated information requests.
  • Collaborative Planning and Strategy: Provide support for planning to support business changes or changes related to income tax laws and legal guidance.
  • Resource Sharing:This role is resource shared within the US Tax Operations team and individuals in the global tax team who support operating companies. Through assignments that support others, this role provides a unique opportunity to continue your individual development to aspects outside of federal and state income tax.

  • Grow your subject matter expertise across tax through research and analysis for our ever-evolving business.
  • Actively participate in projects that enhance our tax technology tool kit.
  • Be supported in efforts to continue your training, stay current in tax developments, and establish yourself in the tax community.
Qualifications & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in accounting, finance or related field
  • Master's in taxation or accounting, preferred
  • CPA certification, preferred
  • 3+ years of progressive corporate or public accounting experience in multi-national corporate income tax.
Skills & Competencies
  • Experience with tax software (e.g., CorpTax), MSFT Office Suite, and efficiency tools (e.g., Power BI Platform, Alteryx), and software tools for financial data (e.g., Oracle, SAP, OneStream).
  • Knowledge of overall workflow of accounting within ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Comprehensive understanding of US income tax principles
  • Ability to translate income tax concepts / requirements into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to summarize facts and conclusions and a high level with willingness to explore statutory guidance to fully consider potential outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact with finance teams throughout the organization.
  • Results-oriented, technically-curious, and values effective collaboration.
  • High level of integrity and a commitment to upholding professional standards.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 81,200.00 - 150,800.00
