Sr Bigdata engineer

Looking for someone very strong in Scala Programming, python and big data.

Responsibilities:

• Advanced hands-on experience with Python, Spark ( Scala) programming languages
• Lead Scala Developer will be a key contributor to our Strategic Products Engineering team and will have the below responsibilities:
  Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and build solutions that deliver the business value
  Apply technical background/understanding, business knowledge, system knowledge in the elicitation of Systems Requirements for projects
  Leverage industry standard Scala design patterns to build technical approaches and to guide the team towards writing better code
  Take on development responsibility for key technical features
  Continuously improve software engineering practices around Scala including improved design guidelines, and writing code that promotes unit testing
  Lead requirements and design for non-functional requirements like security, observability and performance as it pertains to Scala
  Qualification:
  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required
  Minimum 10+ years' experience with designing, developing, delivering and maintaining large scalable enterprise systems
  Minimum 7+ year experience with Scala programming and python
  Experience with Big Data Technologies like Spark, Striim, and Airflow will be plus.
  Ability to be forward-thinking and be able to analyze and anticipate project, technology and team solutions to ensure successful project delivery
