Purpose: The purpose of the Sr Business Analyst Finance Systems is to implement enhancements and execute maintenance of the organizations financial systems. This role assists in defining financial systems in partnership with the Finance team and key stakeholders across the Company.
Essential Functions:
Supports and implements global SAP initiatives with local finance teams
Ensures business requirements are properly configured in all financial systems
Identifies, evaluates, and recommends key technologies required to support and improve business processes
Drives the full life-cycle for financial systems including gathering business requirements, technical analysis and design, coding, testing, and implementation of customizations within SAP
Supports global SAP template and focus on localizations for US and Canadian businesses
Supports SAP Electronic Banking, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
Supports third party interfaces for the exchange of information with SAP
Reporting Relationship: The Sr Business Analyst Finance Systems reports into the Director Admin Applications
Major Interdependencies: Finance, IT Systems
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 5 years:
o In a technical role: Requires 5 years of business analysis experience.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting can count for 2 of the five-year requirement
- An MBA or a master's level degree in a program related to the functional area can count for an additional 2 years of the five-year requirement
o In the industry: Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience - 1 year
Specialized Training:
o Training that leads to an in-depth understanding of Business Analysis
o Training that leads to designing and implementing solutions in ERP applications
o Training that leads to SAP FICO deployment, administration and projects
Specialized Skillset/Competencies/Traits
o Demonstrated history of anticipating the needs of the business and complex stakeholders
o Demonstrated experience exhibiting a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to optimize work processes and achieve positive results
Location: Requires regular/hybrid attendance at Retail Center of Excellence in East Rutherford
