What you'll do:
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements for ServiceNow implementations.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items to support agile delivery.
- Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements using ServiceNow modules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize IT Service Management (ITSM) processes in alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in the configuration and customization of ServiceNow applications, including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and the Power Platform.
- Support the development of dashboards, reports, and automation tools using ServiceNow capabilities.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate ServiceNow configurations.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous testing and troubleshooting.
- Act as the primary liaison between the business and technical teams to ensure alignment and delivery of project goals.
- Provide regular project updates and facilitate solution demonstrations for stakeholders.
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, including business process workflows, technical specifications, and user guides.
What you'll need to succeed:
- You have an active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst
- At least 3 years of your business analyst experience is focused on ServiceNow implementations.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Proficiency in process mapping and requirements documentation.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Glide API) and dashboard/report creation.
- Familiarity with SQL and data analysis techniques.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
