Position Overview:

The Senior Business Analyst at IMC Companies leads business analysis and project management for major corporate programs, navigating complex software configurations, multi-platform applications, and system integration challenges across various development teams. In this role, you will collaborate closely with your team, business partners, and IT support functions to ensure that projects are accurately designed, strategically planned, and successfully delivered on time, all while adhering to IMCC's SDLC and architectural standards. In addition, you will work alongside other business analysts to evaluate business opportunities and translate intricate business concepts into clear, actionable solutions.

Essential Job Functions

• Develop and deliver effective presentations to and effectively negotiate with executive level business partners and IT executives
• Work and negotiate complex business functions and requirements with technical and non-technical coworkers to accomplish company goals.
• Lead highly complex corporate programs and projects within and across various business areas, applications and projects teams
• Lead the development and execution of test scripts
• Use PMI or Agile methodologies to lead activities, including the development of project schedules, status reporting, issue management, and other required tasks
• Manage and monitor a program or projects effectively through to successful completion (on time, within budget, adhering to high quality standards, and meeting customer expectations)
• Track project spending against budgets
• Ensure all project deliverables and the creation and review of documentation comply with the IMC development process
• Work with solution architects to define and incorporate long term architecture goals throughout the SDLC
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements where appropriate
• Conduct all business in a highly ethical manner, exhibiting behavior, practices, and standards that uphold IMC core values
• Mentor others on all aspects of the Business Analyst role within IMCC
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• 5-8 years of progressive qualifying work experience in information technology or business environment
• Bachelor's degree, in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration and/or equivalent formal training or work experience (An advanced degree is preferred but not required.)
• Financial Systems and ERP experience
• Relevant business and IT knowledge and experience within transportation/drayage industry (e.g. freight systems, infrastructure, logistics, customer systems, financial systems, back-office systems)
• Expert knowledge of IT and business partner strategies
• Large scale complex project or program experience in either application development, project management, or business analysis experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for engaging at all levels, including senior leadership
• Proven collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Proven mentoring skills
• Proven analytical skills on projects in complex scales
• Availability to travel when needed

Other Skills / Abilities

• ERP System migration experience a plus
• Great Plains experience a plus
• Understanding and/or formal training on Agile roles, principles, and methodologies
• Experience in an Agile environment
• Scrum Master or Scrum Product Owner experience
• PMI-ACP or PMP certification is a plus
