Experience: 8 to 12 years

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Business Analyst with 8 to 12 years of experience in Business Analysis and Planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Education domain and will be proficient in English (Read/Write). This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate business processes within the Education domain to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance business operations and achieve organizational goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the Education sector.
Create detailed business analysis reports including financial models forecasts and performance metrics.
Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to drive consensus and decision-making.
Provide expert guidance on best practices and methodologies for business analysis and planning.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements process flows and user stories.
Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights and support data-driven decision-making.
Monitor and track project progress ensuring timely delivery of milestones and deliverables.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Support the development and implementation of new systems and processes ensuring seamless integration with existing operations.
Mentor and coach junior analysts fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.
Demonstrate proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques including process mapping and requirements gathering.
Have a solid understanding of the Education domain with experience in developing and implementing strategic plans.
Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Show proficiency in data analysis and reporting with experience using relevant software and tools.
Display strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Hold a bachelor's degree in business administration education or a related field.
Have experience working in a hybrid work model with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
Demonstrate fluency in English (Read/Write) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development staying current with industry trends and best practices.
Possess the ability to mentor and coach junior team members fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work with a focus on achieving measurable results.
Be detail-oriented and organized with strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Certifications Required

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification in Business Analysis.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[XX,XXX.XX - XX,XXX.XX] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
