You will be the Sr. Capital Projects Engineer for the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Dallas Manufacturing team. Our capital team is responsible for developing and managing capital investments, planning long-range capital projects, and overseeing equipment installations to drive efficiency and innovation in our manufacturing operations.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sr. Capital Projects Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the capital lead in managing capital expenditure requests, planning long-range capital investments, and overseeing equipment installations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure capital projects align with organizational goals and deliver value.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and presenting capital expenditure requests in alignment with the Dallas manufacturing annual capital portfolio
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure capital projects align with organizational goals and deliver value
Planning and forecasting the long-range capital plan for Dallas Manufacturing
Overseeing the installation of machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure adherence to specifications, timelines, and budgets
Managing relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects
Assisting in the execution and tracking of the capital budget for Dallas Manufacturing
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Preparing progress reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and achievements

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent technical manufacturing (shop floor or manufacturing engineering) experience with a degree in Business or Project Management.
Experience working in a manufacturing and/or production environment.
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
Desired skills
Knowledge of Lockheed Martin manufacturing processes and equipment.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and process improvement tools and principles; Green belt or higher certification.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience with capital expenditure requests.
Experience managing supplier relationships and overseeing equipment installations.
Experience with Lockheed Martin capital planning and portfolio execution.
Proficient in SAP.
CAM trained.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
