Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading civil engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and client requirements. This position requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Prepare engineering designs, plans, and specifications for municipal and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
• Collaborate with architects, planners, and other engineering professionals to develop integrated project solutions.
• Review and approve design calculations, plans, and reports prepared by junior engineers and design staff.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to civil engineering projects.
• Prepare and present project proposals and reports to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred.
• Knowledge of hydrology and municipal design processes is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
