Position Summary
As a Sr. Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer, you can look forward to identifying and building relationships with developers, real estate owners and brokers for commercial business loans which include loans for industrial, multifamily resident, office, retail, restaurants, and storage facilities. Responsible for all phases of the commercial loan sales life cycle, including lead generation and sourcing, relevant systems, loan policies and structure, product knowledge, and financial analysis.
In addition, markets the credit union as a premier commercial real estate lending institution and utilizes decision tools and credit analysis skills to make appropriate credit and structuring decisions.
An
Annual base salary PLUS quarterly incentives.
Must reside in the state of CA or willing to self-relocate

Qualifications
Qu
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in business, and/or ten (10) plus years Commercial Lending experience.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws; compliance regulations for commercial real estate loans
- Knowledge of commercial real estate loan terminology, documentation, and origination
- Ability to identify, develop and deal with high net worth individuals and real estate investors.
- Proven track record for originating and closing Commercial Real Estate Loans
- Excellent self-motivational skills
- Demonstrated sales and referral skills. Ability to identify, consult and respond to origination opportunities with loan applicants/potential members by utilizing cross-selling skills.
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills and analytical skills for credit analysis and resolving problems
- Working knowledge of word processing, Internet, mortgage origination, automated underwriting systems and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to meet agreed deadlines and be responsive to shifting priorities
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all organizational levels
- Current Driver's License, proof of insurance, evidence of a safe driving record, ability to provide own transportation for local travel, and be able to travel locally on a regular basis
