What to Expect

The Commercial Sales Manager (CSM) is responsible for the overall success of HCA's commercial sales efforts to support Hyundai, Genesis, Kia (OEM). The Commercial Sales Manager (CSM) will be brand agnostic and will support all three brands in addition to any emerging commercial products. The CSM will lead the commercial sales endeavors achieving growth and profitability objectives. The CSM reports directly to the Commercial Sales Director to implement Hyundai Capital America (HCA) strategic initiatives to increase HCA's commercial penetration. The CSM will work closely with OEM partners, HCA's insurance, and retail field staff to facilitate commercial financing. The CSM will call on franchised dealers, strategic investors identified by the OEM, and occasionally non branded dealers. The CSM will focus on dealer principals and decision makers in the dealership. The CSM will also call on small to large fleets in an effort to support HCA's commercial objectives. The CSM will be the primary point of contact for commercial activities in the region.

What You Will Do

1. Pursue commercial opportunities (FP, RE, WC, LOC's).

2. Maintain and report commercial pipeline to Commercial Director.

3. Act as lead in supporting KIA, Hyundai and Genesis commercial activities.

4. Manage the relationship between home office and OEM stakeholders.

5. Utilize sales tools to prepare credit submittals to commercial credit.

6. Submit complete credit files for approval to commercial credit.

7. Create atmosphere of teamwork between multiple organizations and stakeholders.

8. Collect intel, and present wholesale presentation packages.

9. Act as the commercial gate keeper and liaison for CVF and mobility business and perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring
Minimum 8 years progressive commercial sales or credit experience in floor plans, real estate, working capital, lines of credit, etc.
Bachelor's degree required
MBA Preferred
Ability to analyze financial statements
Relationship management skills
Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
Problem-solving skills
Strong negotiation and leadership skills
Documented sales success
Commercial aptitude
Solid organization and interpersonal skill set
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word applications
Familiarity with automotive or Class 8 truck dealer operations

Work Environment
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
Must be willing to travel 70%
Overnight travel may be required
When not traveling working from OEM offices at least 25% on non-travel days

The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors. It is uncommon to hire candidates at or near the top of the range.
