We are seeking a seasoned marketing and communications professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing external narratives and content strategies that showcase how we're helping Sellers and Brands thrive, highlighting eBay's unique approach to driving holistic business success. You will collaborate with leadership, product marketing, and senior executives to develop engaging communications and enablement materials, while managing relationships with agency partners and vendors. With a strong background in content creation and strategic thinking, you will play a key role in enhancing engagement, measuring effectiveness, and driving awareness within the industry.

What will you accomplish:

• Develop and implement external narratives and content strategies to effectively communicate eBay Advertising's unique industry position and the transformation of customer service for brands and strategic sellers on the eBay marketplace.
• Collaborate with eBay and eBay Advertising leadership, Product Marketing, Field marketers and senior executives to develop professional, engaging and informative communications and enablement materials (scripts, presentations, one-pagers, digital content) aligned with messaging pillars and corporate strategy to drive awareness in the industry and amongst sellers and brands.
• Manage relationships with agency partners and vendors to support narrative and content development.
• Provide strategic recommendations and explore innovative communication approaches to enhance engagement.
• Measure, track, and report the effectiveness of messaging and content, evolving strategies as needed in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of eBay sellers, product offerings, and strategies, and understand competitive strengths to drive content strategy.
• Collaborate with SMEs and channel owners to ensure proper fit and distribution of messaging.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, English, Communications or related field.
• 10-plus years of marketing writing experience, cross channel marketing asset development and management with demonstrable skills in content creation, project management, product mastery and positioning.
• Relevant communications & marketing experience in a direct sale, B2B or B2C organizations; experience in eCommerce media/ad sales. is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Advocate for quality, bringing an eye for detail.
• Self-starter who proactively seeks growth opportunities and is capable of completing projects from start to finish across functions
• Strong cross-collaboration skills and experience navigating matrixed organizational structures.
• Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactical plans effectively.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$101,200 - $174,100

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
