Sr. Cyber Ops Specialist with Security Clearance

Orbis is seeking a Full-Time Sr. Cyber Ops Specialist to work in the Washington Metro Area region. The selected candidate will monitor network activity and analyze it for evidence of anomalous behavior, ensuring the protection of data, information systems, and infrastructure. Duties/Responsibilities Use information from various sources to monitor network activity and detect anomalies. Identify, triage, and report events to safeguard data and infrastructure. Find trends, patterns, and anomaly correlations using security-relevant data. Recommend proactive security measures to mitigate threats. Conduct analysis to isolate indicators of compromise. Notify designated managers, cyber incident responders, and cybersecurity team members of suspected cyber incidents. Articulate the events history, status, and potential impact in accordance with the cyber incident response plan. Position requires rotating shift work. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of experience; additional years of professional and/or military experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Required Skills/Abilities U.S. Citizenship. Requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance Understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat analysis methodologies. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings. Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.
